Volleyball Recap: Pinnacle Takes a Loss

If Pinnacle was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cibola on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pioneers fell 2-0 to the Corona del Sol Aztecs on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Aztecs: they've now lost three in a row.

Pinnacle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Corona del Sol, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Pinnacle and Corona del Sol will both be playing Chandler the next time they take the court. The Aztecs will head out to face the Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
