On Tuesday Isaiah Mata almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. The performance marked the most points Mata has had since back in December of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the matchup was also his sixth in a row with two or more steals. This season, he has averaged 4.8 points, 2.2 steals, and 5.6 boards.

Coming up, Mata and Crystal City will head out to take on Luling at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mata will face off against Jaime Gomez, the Eagles' star shooting guard. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
