Basketball Recap: Gilmer Comes Up Short

Gilmer was the 52-49 winner over Kilgore when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Gilmer Buckeyes fell to the Kilgore Bulldogs 39-34.

Gilmer now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Kilgore, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Coming up, Gilmer is taking a road trip to take on Grace Community at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Kilgore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
