Quitman is 8-2 against Winona since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Quitman Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Winona Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Quitman has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 13.

On Tuesday, Quitman lost to Malakoff at home by a 40-24 margin.

Meanwhile, Winona lost 75-50 to Grand Saline on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Winona, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-15.

Quitman might still be hurting after the 56-31 loss they got from Winona in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Quitman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
