Recap: Broome Centurions vs. Boiling Springs Bulldogs

The Broome Centurions pushed their score all the way to 65 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Boiling Springs by a score of 67-65. Broome lost against Boiling Springs in their previous head to head back in December of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-46 score last time.

Broome's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Xavier Hill, who scored 23 points along with 3 steals. Ja'Coreyun Broadus was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Broome has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.

Broome will head out on the road to face off against Spartanburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spartanburg has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 371 points over their last five games. Boiling Springs won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th. Hopefully Union County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Monday.
