            Baseball Preview: Star-Spencer Bobcats vs. Western Heights Jets        
        
		
        
        
            The Star-Spencer Bobcats will head out on the road to  face off against  the Western Heights Jets  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Star-Spencer comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Monday just wasn't the day for Star-Spencer's offense. They came up short against  Casady on Monday, falling  12-0.
Meanwhile, Western Heights hadn't done well against Guymon recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday. The Jets were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Tigers. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Jets.
 Caden Wiebusch spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Western Heights let  Akin Aguillard and  Keziah Howell run wild. Aguillard  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  Howell  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. What's more,  Howell posted three  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.  Kipp Davis also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Star-Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Western Heights, their record now sits at 8-10.
