Volleyball Recap: Belleville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Belleville extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 16 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-14. They lost 3-0 to the Lincoln Railsplitters. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Railsplitters since October 18, 2018.

As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Leading Lincoln to victory were Olivia Sarvis and Brooklyn Troy. Sarvis had 11 digs and three aces, while Troy had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Sarvis has posted over her last six contests.

Belleville and Lincoln could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Tigers will square off against Stevenson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (585 vs. 86). Meanwhile, Lincoln (ranked 418th) will meet Chelsea (ranked 112th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
