Wilson Prep is 10-0 against KIPP P since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wilson Prep Tigers will face off against the KIPP P Pride at 7:00 p.m. Wilson Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully KIPP P likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wilson Prep challenged Rocky Mount Prep on Tuesday. Wilson Prep strolled past Rocky Mount Prep with points to spare, taking the game 87-73. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Jaguars are ranked 458th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, KIPP P came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Southeast Halifax by a score of 67-58 on Saturday. The score was all tied up 31-31 at the break, but the Pride were the better team in the second half.

Wilson Prep has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.6 points per game. As for KIPP P, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10.

Everything went Wilson Prep's way against KIPP P in their previous matchup back in January, as Wilson Prep made off with an 81-61 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilson Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
