Cherry Creek waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Trinity Fore paced Cherry Creek's offense, picking up 14 kills. Fore got some help from Catarina Harzbecker and her 14 assists. Harzbecker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Haley Heim, each putting up three.

Cherry Creek's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Cherry Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Mountain Vista on the 1st. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Lewis-Palmer on the 1st.
