Softball Recap: Berkner Takes a Loss

Berkner lost against Nimitz back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heidi Shehan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Addison Woolverton also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Berkner's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Nimitz, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.

While Berkner had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
