Meanwhile, Robstown posted their biggest win since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Grulla as Robstown made off with a 47-21 victory. Given the Cottonpickers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 695th, while the Gators are ranked 1394th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Robstown's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Columbia, their victory bumped their record up to 25-8.
