Volleyball Recap: Badger's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Badger had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Pymatuning Valley Lakers 3-0 on Monday. The Braves not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Badger to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyleigh Hall, who had eight aces and seven digs. Those eight aces gave Hall a new career-high. Brianna Lendak was another key player, getting 11 kills, nine digs, and four aces.

They weren't the only good server: Badger was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Badger's record now sits at 6-8. As for Pymatuning Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Badger will face off against Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pymatuning Valley, they will challenge Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
