Volleyball Recap: St. Helena Comes Up Short

St. Helena lost against Upper Lake back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Saints fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, St. Helena sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 16-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-8.

Ava Witter was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests.

St. Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Upper Lake, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither St. Helena nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
