Soccer Recap: Lakeside Takes a Loss

Lakeside lost against East Valley back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Lakeside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 244th, while East Valley are ranked 109th).

Lakeside's goal came courtesy of Carter Wall, who's now up to four this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lakeside and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for East Valley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Medical Lake on the 15th. As for East Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 0-0 defeat against North Central on the 17th.
