Basketball Recap: Mishawaka Takes a Loss

Mishawaka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Northridge Raiders, falling 83-44. While losing is never fun, the Cavemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Raiders are ranked 20th).

Mishawaka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.

Mishawaka will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Penn at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Penn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Northridge likes a good challenge.
