The Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Adams County Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Hillsboro Christian Academy faced Temple Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Hillsboro Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 62-35 loss at the hands of Temple Christian. Hillsboro Christian Academy's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Despite their defeat, Hillsboro Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryson Willey, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Tong, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Adams County Christian couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They suffered a tough 69-49 loss at the hands of Hillsboro Christian Academy back in November.
Their wins bumped Hillsboro Christian Academy to 4-2 and Temple Christian to 3-1.
