Basketball Recap: Luigirey Guce's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Foothill Tech over Santa Paula

If Foothill Tech was riding high fresh off their 65-31 takedown of Grace on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Foothill Tech Dragons fell just short of the Santa Paula Cardinals by a score of 63-61 on Saturday. The Dragons have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luigirey Guce, who posted 12 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Brown, who put up 13 points and five assists.
