Duchesne is a perfect 10-0 against Rowland Hall since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will host the Winged Lions at 2:00 p.m. Duchesne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.7 runs per game this season.

Duchesne is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: South Sevier, who was ranked sixth at the time (Duchesne was ranked 18th). The Eagles took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Tuesday. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Eagles, who fell 6-4 when the teams last met back in May of 2024.

Prezley Farnsworth was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Kamee Larsen also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Rowland Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to East.

Duchesne's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Rowland Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Duchesne's way against Rowland Hall in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as Duchesne made off with a 19-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Winged Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
