After losing to Caroline the last time they met, Chancellor decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chargers put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

One reason for the win was Chancellor's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-12.

Bree Smith paced Chancellor's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Aiden Jolly and her 27 assists. Kayla Greenleaf controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chancellor's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Caroline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Chancellor has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Courtland on the 1st. As for Caroline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Culpeper County on the 1st.
