Basketball Recap: McNair Comes Up Short

McNair extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were beaten by the Forest Park Panthers 62-28. The Mustangs were down 43-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

As for Forest Park, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Derrick Green had another great game (as he tends to do), putting up 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaccarri Stokes, who posted eight points.

McNair has already played their next contest, a 56-53 defeat against Hapeville Charter on the 18th. As for Forest Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-45 win against Mundy's Mill on the 18th.
