Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brandon). They walked away with a 69-60 win over the Jefferson Dragons on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Brandon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Messiah McKinley, who posted 18 points. The game was McKinley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Cole, who earned 16 points.

Brandon's victory ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

Brandon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hillsborough at 6:30 p.m. Brandon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Jefferson, they will face off against King at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson is facing King at the right time seeing as King is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
