Romeo proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Romeo got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 31-33, 18-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, L'Anse Creuse North still got an impressive performance from Olivia Kupke, who had seven digs and four assists.

Romeo's victory bumped their record up to 26-11-1. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.

Romeo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against L'Anse Creuse at 7:00 p.m.
