Basketball Recap: Glide Drops Season-High Score on Douglas

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glide). They breezed past the Douglas Trojans to the tune of 50-14 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have beaten the Trojans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Glide's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Douglas, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

Glide and Douglas could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Glide (ranked 180th) will meet Coquille (ranked 22nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Douglas will take on Sutherlin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 176 places (248 vs. 72).
