Baseball Recap: Colony Comes Up Short

Colony lost against South Anchorage back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 3-2.

Cody Otto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Colony's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Anchorage, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Colony will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Soldotna at 9:30 a.m. on the 25th. As for South Anchorage, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-5 victory against West Valley on the 11th.
