Baseball Recap: North Lincoln Finds Playoff Glory Versus East Lincoln

North Lincoln extended their postseason success on Wednesday against East Lincoln. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 7-2. The Knights have beaten the Mustangs the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

North Lincoln's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for East Lincoln, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 20-7 record.

North Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-5 win against East Rowan on the 16th. East Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
