Basketball Recap: Blue Mountain Takes a Loss

If Blue Mountain was riding high fresh off their 59-37 takedown of Strayhorn last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Mountain Cougars took a blow against the Coffeeville Pirates on Tuesday, falling 76-33. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Blue Mountain's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-14. As for Coffeeville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Mountain has already played their next match (against Tremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coffeeville has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Strayhorn.
