Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Victory Christian Academy entered their contest against First Baptist Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chargers lost 3-0 to First Baptist Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chargers have suffered since October 12, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.

Olivia Buettner paced Victory Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Buettner got some help from Laura Winslow and her eight assists. Buettner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for First Baptist Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Victory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for First Baptist Academy, they will host Sandoval at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
