Basketball Recap: Lamar Christian Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Lamar Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 37-33 victory over the Purvis Tornadoes. 37 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Purvis' loss came despite strong showings from Breleigh Adkins and Zoey Robinson. Adkins dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Robinson almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 17 boards. Robinson is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
