Recap: Cleburne Yellowjackets vs. Bell Blue Raiders
The Cleburne Yellowjackets had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 win over Bell on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Bell saw an underclassman step up: Keyaun Williams scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Dyer, who scored 7 points.
Cleburne's win bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bell, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Cleburne will face off against Benbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bell, they will head out on the road to face off against Coppell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coppell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bell in Texas (Coppell is ranked 153rd, while Bell is ranked 903rd).
