Volleyball Recap: Mount Juliet Comes Up Short

Mount Juliet lost against Station Camp on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Bears fell just short of the Bison by a score of 3-2.

Mount Juliet wouldn't go down easily and took Station Camp into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 24-26, 21-25, 15-11.

McKenna Kistemaker paced Mount Juliet's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kistemaker got some help from Annabella Brewer and her 19 assists. Isabella Waters controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mount Juliet dropped their record down to 10-19 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Station Camp, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Looking ahead, Mount Juliet will take on Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Station Camp has already played their next match (against White House-Heritage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
