Football Recap: Pembroke Takes a Loss

Pembroke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 47-6 loss at the hands of the Trinity Pioneers. On the bright side, the six- point effort marked the Spartans' highest-scoring game to date.

Pembroke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Trinity, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pembroke is set to challenge their familiar foe Kingswood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Trinity will square off against rival Merrimack Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
