Preview: Gallatin vs. Penney
Gallatin will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Penney at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Gallatin had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against North Platte last Friday as they made off with a 31-6 win.
Meanwhile, Penney was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They blew past Maysville/Winston 43-14. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-6.
Their wins bumped Penney to 1-0 and Gallatin to 1-0. With both Gallatin and Penney swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
