It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richards can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stagg Chargers on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
While Richards was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23.
Richards' record now sits at 15-13. As for Stagg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-18 record this season.
Richards does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stagg, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Mother McAuley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
