Football Recap: Waynesboro Takes a Loss

Waynesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets and fell 47-7. While losing is never fun, the Little Giants can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Green Hornets are ranked 90th).

Waynesboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wilson Memorial, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.
