Volleyball Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

River Ridge lost against Orangeville back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncos.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10.

KENLEY PATTERSON paced River Ridge's offense, picking up three kills. PATTERSON got some help from GRACIE SCHNITZLER and her five assists.

Kylie Wolfe was the offensive standout of the game as she had 11 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

River Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Orangeville, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

After both having extra time off, River Ridge and Pearl City will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Orangeville, they are taking a road trip to square off against South Beloit at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sobos will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
