Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Beats Hammon for Their Fourth Straight Win

Cheyenne/Reydon hadn't done well against Hammon recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bears strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 59-44. This was payback for the Bears, who suffered a 42-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cheyenne/Reydon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimbo Denney out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Denney is now averaging an impressive 2.2 blocks per game. Another player making a difference was Emma Bogges, who went 7-for-11 on her way to 16 points.

The victory keeps Cheyenne/Reydon at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 57.8 points this season. As for Hammon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Cheyenne/Reydon will venture away from home to face off against Sayre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hammon, they will square off against Shattuck at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
