Volleyball Recap: HCYA Falls to Brazosport Christian in First Game of Season

HCYA had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brazosport Christian Eagles on Tuesday. HCYA was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brazosport Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While HCYA had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Coincidentally, HCYA and Brazosport Christian will both be playing Faith Christian the next time they take the court. Brazosport Christian will head out to face Faith Christian at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, while HCYA will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
