Recap: Sheehan Titans vs. Cheshire Rams
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilbur Cross, the Sheehan Titans were happy to have found some success on Monday. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over Cheshire. For Sheehan, this counts as revenge for the 60-54 defeat Cheshire walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Sheehan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jackson Crowellmasi, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Crowellmasi set a new season high mark in steals with three. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake O'Brien, who scored 11 points along with seven assists.
The win got Sheehan back to even at 3-3. As for Cheshire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Sheehan will head out on the road to face off against Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cheshire, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Maloney at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Maloney is ranked 93rd, while Cheshire is ranked 115th).
