Basketball Recap: John Carroll Takes a Loss

John Carroll and Our Lady of Mount Carmel squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but John Carroll had to settle for second. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars. The Patriots have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

John Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 33-4.

As of now, neither John Carroll nor Our Lady of Mount Carmel have any future games scheduled.
