After low-scoring totals in their previous five match, West Jessamine brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the South Laurel Cardinals 9-1 on Saturday. West Jessamine might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

West Jessamine pushed their record up to 10-3-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for South Laurel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season.

West Jessamine will take on Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Laurel, they will head out to challenge Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
