Softball Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

Lynbrook came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Palo Alto, falling 19-3. Lynbrook hasn't had much luck with Palo Alto recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lynbrook saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calia Lim, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Lim has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Audrey Lee was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Palo Alto, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynbrook will challenge rival Cupertino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Palo Alto is set to take on their familiar foe Santa Clara at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
