Volleyball Recap: Peyton Zdroik Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Wild Rose + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Pacelli faced off against Wild Rose on Tuesday. The Cardinals blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 27-25.

Pacelli's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Zdroik, who had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Zdroik has posted over her last four matches. Another player making a difference was Annie Vaughan, who had 18 digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Pacelli was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

Pacelli pushed their record up to 11-16 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wild Rose, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Pacelli didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Marathon on the 9th. As for Wild Rose, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Marion on the 9th.
