Football Recap: Hyde Park Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hyde Park duked it out with Dyett on Thursday. The Thunderbirds took a 20-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Thunderbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The critical scores for Dyett came from Zimbalist Griffin, Dareon Young, Donyae Jackson, and Jesus Mitchell-Hightower.

Hyde Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dyett, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hyde Park is set to challenge their familiar foe South Shore International at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dyett will square off against rival Carver at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
