California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-0-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Everything went Norton Science & Language Academy's way against California Lutheran in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Norton Science & Language Academy made off with a 5-1 win.
