Baseball Game Preview: Paramus Spartans vs. Hackensack Comets

The Paramus Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Hackensack Comets at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Paramus will be strutting in after a win while Hackensack will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Paramus earned a 13-8 victory over Dwight Morrow. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Hackensack was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Ridgewood, falling 10-0.

Hackensack's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Paramus, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Paramus was able to grind out a solid victory over Hackensack when the teams last played on Tuesday, winning 5-1. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
