Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Piedmont Academy faced off against Trinity Prep on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-18.

Piedmont Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Trinity Prep, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Piedmont Academy will venture away from home to challenge Mount de Sales Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Trinity Prep, they will be playing at home against Valor Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
