Volleyball Recap: Carey's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Carey suffered their biggest defeat since October 31, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Valley Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-16, 25-13.

Bentley Saxton paced Carey's offense, picking up three kills. Saxton got some help from Andie Simpson and her five assists. Finally, Emily Dahlstrom and Abbi Whittier kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked six attacks.

Carey's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Valley, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Carey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Mackay on the 2nd. As for Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Shoshone on the 2nd.
