If Midview wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Steele, they should've done a better job of containing Jack Coleman. The Comets enjoyed a cozy 81-66 win over the Middies on Friday with plenty of help from Coleman, who shot 61% from the field on his way to 26 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game.

Cole Scanlon was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 15 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last four games he's played.

Despite the loss, Midview still got an impressive performance from Luke Jockel, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 30 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Xavier Young, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 20 points and five boards.

Steele moved to 8-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Midview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Steele wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 91-53 defeat against Hoover on the 18th. As for Midview, they have also already played their next game, a 70-42 loss against Avon Lake on the 20th.
