The Samuell Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Adams Cougars at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Samuell's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Samuell fell victim to Conrad's stalwart defense last Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 5-0 walloping at the hands of the Chargers.
Meanwhile, Adams waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They skirted past Poteet 2-1. That's two games straight that Adams has won by exactly one goal.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of

Angel Cumplido, who scored both of Adams' goals. The pair have combined for a total of three so far this season.
Samuell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Adams, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-3.
