Basketball Recap: Coleman Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Niagara

After losing to Niagara the last time they met, Coleman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Coleman Cougars walked away with a 52-45 victory over the Niagara Badgers on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Badgers are ranked 197th).

The victory got Coleman back to even at 6-6. As for Niagara, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3.

Coleman has already played their next matchup (against Oneida Nation), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Niagara has already played their next contest, a 63-60 loss against Gillett on the 24th.
